How To Use This Platform

  • When and where will the Textile Dialogue take place?
    • The textile dialogue will take place on the 13th of October 2021 from 11hr SAST to 13hr SAST.
    • The event will take place virtually on the Zoom platform.
    • The event will also be broadcasted live on this website to facilitate those who had not had the chance to register.

  • How do I register for the dialogue?
    • You can register for the dialogue by simply clicking on this link
    • An automatic email will be sent to your email address containing all the necessary details to join the webinar.
    • On the day of the webinar, you can simply click on the “join” link and it will automatically direct you to the platform.

  • How will my questions be answered on the platform?
    • All the questions that will be posted on the website will be directed to the moderator who will pose the questions to the panellists during the open engagement.
    • The participants on the zoom platform will also be given permission unmute themselves and pose their question or provide a comment live. This will be done under the supervision of the moderator.
    • Those who do not wish to speak live will be able to post their questions on the Q&A box on the Zoom platform and once again, the moderator will direct your questions to the panellists to answer.

  • Is the event only for the English speaking community?
    • The event will be held in English as all our speakers are English speaking.
    • There will also be a French interpreter on the platform who will offer live French translation for the francophone community joining us.
    • MINDS is a Pan-African organisation and calls for everyone around the continent to participate in this educating ad exciting event.

  • Will the recording of the webinar be shared at the end of the event?
    • The webinar will be streamed live on YouTube, meaning that one can visit the MINDS YouTube page at a later stage and go through the contents of the video once more. One can also choose to visit this website to review the webinar.
    • A report and recording will so be shared by the MINDS Team. This will only be shared to all who had registered and attended the webinar.
    • As this webinar forms part of a series, the rest of the conferences will also be broadcasted on this website as well as on YouTube. More information on this will be shared in future!
